Eric R. Hoonhout, (Associate). Born: Montclair, New Jersey. Education: Florida State University College of Law (Juris Doctor, cum laude, 2010); Augsburg College (B.A. History, 2006). Upon graduation from the Florida State University College of Law, Mr. Hoonhout received an award for distinguished pro bono service while in law school.

While in law school, Mr. Hoonhout served as the Public Defender for students accused of violations of the Florida State University student conduct code. In addition, he worked as a law clerk in the Office of the Inspector General at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (Tallahassee, FL), and at the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office (San Bernardino, California). Mr. Hoonhout practices in the area of bad faith insurance litigation. He is a member of the Florida Bar.
